Like many web hosting companies, HostGator provides many different hosting packages, depending on how much you’re willing to spend per month. The price also goes down with longer subscription periods. According to a Hostgator review their most basic package is very cheap, but lacks some of the features available with the more expensive packages. Their second tier package includes unlimited domains along with the unlimited storage space and bandwidth provided with the basic package. Their business package provides all of this plus a private SSL certificate and IP address. These features obviously make the business package the best available. However, it costs about $10 each month, as opposed to the $4 for the basic package. This very small difference makes the business package more appealing to the general customer.
